My intention in writing this article is not to give the legal advice on estate planning but hopefully to provide a practical approach within the framework of the reader’s personal family situation. Most importantly however, I hope that this article will assist the reader to avoid leaving behind the nightmare of the family feud.
An Overview of Duties and Obligations of Estate Trustees with a Will

An Estate Trustee:
Must exercise ordinary care and prudence;
Must follow the directions contained in the Will or other governing document or intestacy rules (unless court authorizes changes or beneficiaries consent);
Must treat all beneficiaries impartially and with an even hand unless otherwise directed in the governing document;
